Empowering the Next Generation Through Hands-On Learning

In today’s fast-moving world, preparing children for the future takes more than traditional learning. It requires exposure, experience, and opportunity.

That’s exactly what the Science, Art, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (SATE) Summer Program delivers.

SATE isn’t just a program. It’s a transformational experience designed to help students explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop real-world skills that will serve them far beyond the classroom.

Why Programs Like SATE Matter More Than Ever

Digital literacy and innovation are no longer optional; they are essential. When students are given the tools to create, think critically, and solve problems, they gain skills that open doors to future success.

Research shows that students who engage in digital and hands-on learning develop stronger:

  • Problem-solving abilities

  • Communication skills

  • Creativity and innovation

  • Confidence in their ideas

SATE brings these benefits to life by turning learning into an interactive and engaging experience, not just something students sit through.

What Your Child Will Experience at SATE

Imagine your child walking into a space where learning feels exciting, creative, and empowering

At SATE, students will:

Explore Science

Engage in hands-on experiments that connect learning to real-world challenges.

Create Through Art

Design digital projects, collaborate on creative work, and express their ideas visually.

Dive Into Technology

Build digital skills through interactive tools, coding basics, and tech exploration.

Think Like an Entrepreneur

Develop business ideas, learn how to problem-solve, and present their concepts with confidence.

From Learning to Leadership

SATE is designed to go beyond academics.

Students don’t just learn, they:

  • Collaborate with peers

  • Present their ideas

  • Build confidence in their voice

  • See themselves as future leaders, creators, and innovators

By the end of the program, participants walk away with more than knowledge; they gain a new sense of self-belief.

A Program Designed for Impact

The SATE Program was created to ensure that all students, regardless of background, have access to high-quality enrichment opportunities.

In its first year, the program impacted 35 total beneficiaries, including students, families, and community participants. The response was clear: this program is needed, valued, and making a difference.

Now, in 2026, we are expanding to serve 25 students, deepening our impact while maintaining a high-quality, personalized experience.

Why You Should Enroll Your Child

This is more than a summer activity. It’s an investment in your child’s future.

SATE helps your child:

  • Discover new interests and talents

  • Build confidence and independence

  • Develop real-world, future-ready skills

  • Connect learning to exciting career pathways

And most importantly, it places them in an environment where they are encouraged to think bigger, dream bolder, and believe in their potential.

The Future Starts Here

The world is changing fast, and the students who will thrive are those who are prepared to adapt, create, and lead.

SATE is where that journey begins.

Give your child the opportunity to explore, grow, and step confidently into their future.

Because one opportunity can change everything.

If 2025 had a soundtrack, it would be layered. The hum of laptops powering on for the first time. The confident voices of young people pitching bold ideas. Laughter echoing through school halls. And the steady rhythm of a community refusing to stand still after adversity.

This year, For One Child Foundation didn’t just celebrate a milestone. We activated it.

Here’s what your support made possible in 2025.

Expanding Our Mission Across Borders

SATE Program Officially Launched in Worcester, MA

2025 marked a significant milestone with the U.S. launch of the SATE Program: Science, Art, Technology & Entrepreneurship. Designed as more than a camp, SATE became a launchpad for young people to explore hands-on science, digital creativity, technology fundamentals, and entrepreneurial thinking.

Students didn’t just learn. They created. They collaborated. They pitched. And they began to see themselves as problem-solvers, innovators, and future founders.

This launch laid the foundation for what SATE will continue to grow into in 2026 and beyond.

Summer Computer Literacy Program Launched in Portland, Jamaica

In Jamaica, we strengthened our commitment to digital access through the Summer Computer Literacy Program, equipping young people with essential technology skills needed for today’s academic and professional world.

For many students, this program marked their first structured exposure to computers, digital tools, and confidence-building tech instruction. It wasn’t just about learning software. It was about unlocking opportunity.

Removing Barriers to Education

Scholarships Awarded

Education access remained at the heart of our work in 2025. Through donor generosity, scholarships were awarded to support students continuing their academic journeys, helping to ease financial burdens and reaffirm that their dreams matter.

Laptops Distributed

We also distributed laptops to students who needed reliable tools to learn, create, and stay connected. Each laptop represented equity in action. No child should be left behind because they lack access to technology.

Still Standing With Jamaica: Hurricane Melissa Relief Continues

Our work in Jamaica did not end when the storm passed.

With the leadership of Antonette Staple, a longtime volunteer and 2025 For One OG Award Recipient, and the support of committed partners, 275 care packages were distributed across four communities in Westmoreland following Hurricane Melissa.

This relief effort is ongoing. Donations are still accepted throughout the year as we continue supporting rural and remote communities while helping families rebuild with dignity and care.

A Message From Our Executive Director: Yanique Deans

Spreading Holiday Cheer at Moore Town Primary

On December 16, 2025, the For One Child Foundation proudly partnered with Moore Town Primary School as a sponsor for a special Christmas dinner that became a moment of healing and joy.

After months of recovery following Hurricane Melissa, the school hall was transformed into a space filled with warmth, festive lights, and laughter. One young student quietly shared, “It seems like Santa Claus came early because this was what I wanted.”

That moment captured everything we stand for. Being present. Restoring joy. Showing up when it matters most.

Our Executive Director extends deep gratitude to every donor and supporter who helped make this possible. Your kindness keeps hope alive.
