What is the SATE Program?

The SATE Summer Bootcamp is an immersive, week-long initiative launched by For One Child Foundation to equip children and youth—especially those from underserved communities—with creative, real-world skills across four transformational pillars:
-
🧪 SCIENCE: Exploring real-world experiments and hands-on learning that nurture critical thinking and curiosity.
-
🎨 ART: Mural-making, digital design, and creative expression to help kids find their voice and vision.
-
💻 TECHNOLOGY: Leveraging AI tools and design platforms like Canva to build logos, websites, and graphics that bring ideas to life.
-
💼 ENTREPRENEURSHIP: Teaching students how to pitch business ideas, understand their audience, and launch ventures that solve real-world problems.
Our students don’t just learn theory—they walk away with a business brand, a community of support, and the confidence to lead.
Who We Serve
The SATE Program is designed for youth ages 8–16, prioritizing students from Black and Brown communities, immigrant families, and those with limited access to extracurricular enrichment in Worcester County and beyond.
We’re here to bridge the equity gap. To amplify young voices. And to make sure brilliance isn’t bound by zip codes.

Our Approach
SATE blends experiential learning, mentorship, and community collaboration to empower kids as creators, thinkers, and entrepreneurs. Over the course of one week, students:
Engage in workshops led by expert instructors in each discipline
Develop and pitch their own business or creative project
Receive brand identity assets (logos, mock-ups, marketing material)
Compete in a culminating Sharklet Showcase, judged by local leaders
Gain exposure to local creative and tech spaces like WorcLab, Technocopia & Arts Worcester
Receive a stipend, certificate, and professional tools to support their business ideas

Our Impact

✅ Dozens of volunteers and sponsors made it possible
Why It Matters
Worcester County is bursting with untapped talent. But without intentional investment in our youth—particularly in creative and STEM-focused development—our future leaders can go unseen.
SATE is about showing up. Showing kids what’s possible. And giving them the tools to take the lead.
We’re not just raising students. We’re raising CEOs. Artists. Scientists. Creators. Innovators.
