Works with schools across the Island by making chairs accessible to all students. The aim is to target youths within the communities that possess the skill to design good and effective chairs; One Chair 4 One Child creates a comfortable learning environment for children going to school in rural areas of Jamaica who have limited access to sturdy chairs.

One Scholarship 4 One Child- (OS4OC)

Seven volunteers have received full scholarships to continue their tertiary education through Jamaica’s Governor General SUmmer Of Service Program. For One Child Foundation has also launched its own scholarship program. We give out small scholarship grants to kids to need help attending school. The fund will help with things such as uniforms, textbooks, school fees, etc.

The FOC-ERC will be home to our Machine Shop and serve as a resource center that will provide training workshops and other educational skills to children and other members in surrounding communities in Rural Portland.
